// BUGGED OUT / TRAILER TRASH // NYE 31.12.09
Bugged Out raise a glass or three to bid farewell to 2009 and welcome the new decade in alongside rave pals Trailer Trash this New Years Eve. We have chosen the relatively intimate surrounds of the bespoke Scrutton St basement club in Shoreditch, will be filling it with a Function One sound-system, lazers and super smart flashing lights and a line up of amazing DJ’s. Brodinski is part of the Bugged Out family, he mixed the Suck My Deck compilation for us this summer and continues to wow with his DJ skills, he is one of a few that can make so many styles collude and cross pollinate well and his kinetic energy is infectious – he will be playing the main two hour set of the night. Joining him are two chaps who rocked our Mad Decent party back in May; Boy 8 Bit will be playing through midnight no doubt including his smash tracks from Baltic Pine and Mumdance who will be concluding the bash with his bassline filled mutant house. From team Trailer Trash come Hannah Holland who stole the show at our 15th birthday recently and residents Mikki Most and Ian Robinson. There are a limited amount of early bird tickets on sale now, a snip at £19.50. Get your here. Find out more.

// FREERANGE // Radio Show - Jimpster Nov 09
Freerange has, over its 10 year life span, continued to build a solid reputation and loyal fan base seeing it blossom into what many consider to be one of the most consistent and interesting UK based labels. Jamie Odell and Tom Roberts established the label in June 1996 with the initial aim being to release Jamie's own Jimpster and Audiomontage productions and later to sign and develop artists with a similar approach to producing innovative, deep and soulful music. This has led to the point where the label can now boast fifteen regular artists, eighty twelve inch releases and seventeen full length albums. Freerange have always worked hard to avoid throwaway, disposable music choosing instead to focus on releases which push things forward whether it be 12 inches rocking the dance floor or classic artist albums that the listener will come back to time and time again. We see Freerange as a label where quality always overrides quantity guaranteeing that our records, whatever the style or current trend, sound fresh and musical. FREERANGE RECORDS PLAY IT NOW
// PARIS // Social Club
ENGLISH ////////////////////////////////// The Social Club isn't just a name - we take the responsibility of our presentation of culture to society very seriously. Our mission statement reads: "One calling for the Social Club is the inclusion of styles, genres, and thus the public." This isn't some wishful thinking either – the weight of history is all around the Social Club. Situated in the very heart of Paris, the Social Club used to house the same printers which saw George Clemenceau's L'Aurore newspaper come rolling off, in particular with Emile Zola's famous 'J'accuse' letter to the French president.
and with Brodinski on the residents list. . we say . . .CHECK IT.
